25th Anniversary of Wine Spectator magazine. Going back to her roots in
broadcasting, Stacie is a recognized media/business coach for Fortune 500
companies, internet start-ups and winemakers, chefs and artisans.
Splash Productions began in 2005, with the production of the first-ever “Wine,
Cuisine & Art of Mexico” exhibit at COPIA. This inaugural event brought together
23 winemakers, 5 chefs and a gallery of over 55 pieces of art, all displayed
within the main atrium of COPIA. The event drew an unprecedented 1,500 visitors
within the first three hours, breaking all previous attendance records.
As a result of the success of the “Wine, Cuisine & Art of Mexico” exhibition,
Splash Productions has enjoyed a thriving tour component of their firm, bringing
wine, cuisine and art lovers to Baja and other regions. Today, they are engaged
in creating a tour project which will bring wine, cuisine and art enthusiasts
from Mexico to regions of the United States.
Splash Productions continues to produce the
”Wine, Cuisine & Art of Mexico” exhibition at COPIA, now in its fourth year.
This event has grown consistently in size and scope each year. For 2007, over 55
winemakers and a dozen chefs presented forums, demonstrations and tastings.
Additionally, Splash has produced and coordinated events and exhibitions for the
city of West Hollywood including four years of, “Tables of Ten,” a fund-raising
food, wine and design event; various gallery openings themed to regional
artists, food and wine.
Their work has been written up in trade and consumer publications and as
spokespersons for the industry, they have appeared on national radio programs
and are frequent contributors to ABC Television network programming on food,
wine and art, as well as Stacie Hunt’s ongoing on-air wine commentating on NPR.
